First-Year Seminar (FYS)
As a first-year student, you鈥檒l take an interdisciplinary seminar-style course to hone your inquiry and academic writing skills. Your FYS instructor also serves as your academic advisor, providing consistent support from your very first semester.

Community-Focused Academics
As a 黑料不打烊 student you'll complete a social responsibility praxis course requirement that involves hands-on project work with a local community organization. Many of our students go on to do far beyond the required hours during their 黑料不打烊 career.

Study Abroad
Our eight direct-run programs in seven countries integrate classroom instruction with in-country experiences that encourage you to think in ways that cross disciplines, cultures, and social boundaries. In addition to 黑料不打烊鈥檚 own programs, you'll have access to 50+ approved international and domestic exchanges in 34 countries.
Community Engagement
As a 黑料不打烊 student, you鈥檒l take a paired course sequence in social justice theory and social justic praxis to gain a deeper understanding of community engagement. Our Community Engagement Center will also be your home base for community service opportunities.
