Summer Welcome Receptions are casual and fun gatherings held across the country that welcome incoming students, their families, and the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community to celebrate new beginnings, make connections, and begin the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ journey together.
Be a Summer Welcome Reception Host
We are currently seeking volunteer hosts for this summer’s Welcome Receptions in the following regions:
- Los Angeles
- Bay Area
- Denver
- Portland
- Seattle
- New York
- Boston
Hosting a Summer Welcome Reception is a wonderful way to give back to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and play a special role in welcoming the next generation of students and families. Our team handles invitations, RSVPs, communications, and event logistics—you simply provide the space and your warm hospitality.

Save the Date: Summer Welcome Reception in Claremont
We’re excited to kick off our Summer Welcome Receptions with a gathering in Portola Valley: Sunday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This will be followed by our second Summer Welcome Reception at the President's Residence: Sunday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
